The fifth annual Hawaii Artist Collaboration Auction celebrating holomua kakou, or “moving forward together,” is Oct. 24 in Holualoa.

Thirty-five artists from 14 disciplines will participate this year. Jewelers, painters woodworkers, blacksmiths, ceramists, sculptors and more, will embark on a week-long journey of artistic collaboration culminating in the auction event showcasing the artwork created during the unique experience.

This year’s event will be held at Holualoa Inn from 4 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to experience the results of the collaborations, meet and talk to the artists, as well as bid on the art via live and silent auctions. The event fee donation is $20 and keiki enter free.

The Hawaii Artist Collaboration is a 501(c)(3) that provides a meeting ground for artists of diverse backgrounds, abilities, and cultures in order to plan, develop, and implement arts and crafts education and opportunities in the communities of Hawaii and beyond.
